Terms of Service

Overview

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Stackless website (mystackless.com) and your purchase of Stackless products. By accepting a confirmed order and paying its deposit, you agree to these terms.

Stackless is operated by Stackless LLC, a California limited liability company based in San Luis Obispo County.

Products and ordering

Stackless builds custom wooden tote storage racks to your specifications. Each rack is made to order based on the configuration you select.

• Website amounts are estimates in US Dollars. The price confirmed in writing for an accepted order is locked unless you approve a written change.
• The build deposit is 50% of the confirmed products subtotal, which includes the rack and selected add-ons, including matching totes when selected. The remaining 50% of that products subtotal is due at delivery. The written order confirmation separately lists any delivery fee, assembly or anchoring charge, and applicable tax, along with when each amount is due.
• We reserve the right to decline an order if the requested configuration is not feasible or if delivery is outside our service area.
• If Stackless declines an order, we will issue a full deposit refund to the original payment method.

Custom products

Because each rack is built to your specifications, all sales are considered custom orders. Please review our Refund Policy for details on cancellations and returns.

Delivery

Delivery is free within San Luis Obispo County, $50 to Santa Maria, and $100 to Santa Barbara or Goleta. We will coordinate a delivery window with you after your rack is complete.

Published delivery fees cover delivery only. Assembly or anchoring is included only when confirmed in writing before production, along with any additional cost.

You are responsible for ensuring adequate access to the delivery location (e.g., garage door clearance, driveway access). If we are unable to deliver due to access issues, a redelivery fee may apply.

Warranty

Every Stackless rack comes with a 2-year structural warranty covering the wood frame and joinery against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

This warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear on fixed rail surfaces from tote removal and return
• Damage caused by improper installation, including use of a stationary rack before it is anchored to wall studs
• Damage caused by using a caster-equipped rack on an uneven surface, without every caster locked, or moving it while loaded
• Cosmetic changes to wood (natural aging, minor color changes)
• Water damage or exposure to elements

Limitation of liability

Stackless LLC is not liable for incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of our products. Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the product. We are not responsible for damage to items stored in the rack. Nothing in these terms limits any right or liability that cannot lawfully be limited under applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of San Luis Obispo County, CA.
